BER Airport

From BER straight into the city

Since Tegel closed, BER handles all scheduled flights for the capital region. Passengers are processed in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Which terminal your flight uses is shown on the airport displays and in your airline's app. Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal where your plane actually lands, even if that changes at short notice.

On an airport transfer in Berlin, only you and your fellow passengers ride in the vehicle. The journey goes from the terminal straight to your address in the city or the surrounding area, with no further pick-ups on the way. Business travellers use the time for their first calls after landing, families arrive with all their luggage and no change of transport.

What we need for your booking

How far is BER Airport from Berlin-Mitte?

Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is in Schönefeld, south-east of central Berlin. By road it is around 25 to 28 kilometres to Mitte, depending on your destination. Driversline takes you from there as a private transfer straight to your address.

Meet & Greet

A greeting at the terminal

After landing, what you want most is to get to the car quickly. Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal, takes your luggage and walks you to the car. You don't have to look for an exit or buy a ticket. As soon as you are in, you are on your way.

  • Welcome

Your chauffeur waits for you at your arrival terminal.

  • Luggage

Your chauffeur takes your luggage and walks you to the vehicle.

  • Departure

The car is ready, the journey starts straight away.

When something goes differently

Sometimes arrival is delayed: by a rebooking, a long queue at passport control or a late baggage belt. Just contact our dispatch team, they coordinate everything else with your chauffeur.

  • Your flight is rebooked and lands at a different terminal
  • Passport control or baggage claim takes longer than planned
  • You can't find your chauffeur straight away

Flight monitoring

Flight tracking on every pick-up

The waiting time is generous. Driversline first allows 15 minutes for the way from the plane to the arrivals hall, then the 30 included minutes begin. So charges start at the earliest 45 minutes after touchdown. Travel agencies and cruise customers can book an option with 60 minutes of included waiting time.

What happens if my flight to BER is delayed?

Driversline tracks your flight number and plans the pick-up for the actual landing. For sedans and vans, 30 minutes of waiting time after landing are included.

Journey times

Journey times from BER to Berlin and Brandenburg

How long the journey takes in Berlin depends heavily on the time of day and traffic, especially on the A113 and the A100. Our dispatch team therefore plans with a buffer, based on your flight number and the time. For departures it sets the pick-up time so that you reach check-in in good time.
