Car class
A van means room and comfort for everyone
Six to nine people, plus luggage for several days: in the van your group travels together instead of split across vehicles. One chauffeur, one pick-up time, one arrival.
- Up to 9 passengers in one vehicle
- Room for luggage without compromise
- Chauffeur with the passenger transport licence

What stands out
What makes the VIP vans special
Between the sedan and the coach lies a gap that exactly this class fills. From the fourth passenger on, the sedan gets tight; for small groups a coach pulls up too large and too unwieldy. The van covers the ground in between: one pick-up time, one vehicle, enough room for suitcases, sample cases or exhibition material.
In practice that means: no arranging between two vehicles, no different arrival times, no shifting luggage around at the kerb. Which of the three models fits best is decided by the number of passengers, the luggage and the drivetrain you want. The comparison below puts all three side by side.
This class is booked above all by
- teams on business trips who use the journey to talk things through
- families with a larger amount of luggage
- organisers moving speakers and small delegations
- groups boarding at several addresses along the way
The van class at Driversline covers three models: the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, the all-electric Mercedes-Benz VLE and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter VIP. Groups of six to nine travel in them with a chauffeur.

The V-Class is the most-booked vehicle in this class and the obvious choice for most journeys. The interior can be reconfigured into conference or face-to-face seating, so your team can use the time to talk things through. Despite the space, the vehicle stays compact enough for tight city centres and underground car parks.

Help choosing
Which van suits your group?
The number of passengers and the amount of luggage almost always decide which model makes sense. This overview puts the three vans side by side so you can decide without asking us first. If your group sits on the boundary between two models, we recommend the larger vehicle, because luggage tends to need more room than planned.

Luggage
Every van has plenty of room for luggage
Many groups underestimate how much luggage space they need. Seven people with hand luggage fit in almost any van; seven people with suitcases for a week do not. That is why we list passengers and luggage separately: a vehicle with seven seats only offers seven comfortable places if the luggage compartment actually takes the load. With exhibition equipment, sample cases or sports gear, we work the space out with you in advance.
In practice: before a vehicle is confirmed, we settle the number and type of items. With a larger volume we move to the Sprinter VIP or provide a second vehicle. That conversation costs you a few minutes on the phone and prevents the situation where a suitcase finds no room at the pick-up point.
We need these details for a recommendation you can rely on:
- The number of travellers
- The number and size of the items of luggage
- Oversized items such as golf bags, instruments or exhibition material
- Whether you want to work during the journey
- Pick-up points, if the group boards at several places
Get in and settle. Comfort that feels like a break.
Matching the occasion
Set off together, arrive together
When a group needs to arrive together, the van plays to its strength. At the terminal every minute counts; at a trade fair, arriving together decides the first appointment. Your chauffeur knows the route, the parking situation and the pick-up points, and nobody in your group has to coordinate anything. Common reasons for a van with a chauffeur:
-
Airport transfers for teams with a lot of luggage
V-Class -
Trade fair and congress visits with several appointments in a day
V-Class or Sprinter VIP -
Roadshows and client visits across several stops
V-Class -
Family trips and journeys to private occasions
V-Class -
Collecting speakers, performers or delegations
Sprinter VIP -
Long-distance journeys between two cities

Fittings
The interior leaves nothing to be desired
The V-Class interior can be reconfigured in a few movements. Arranged face to face it becomes a small meeting room; facing forward it stays a quiet stretch for reading or switching off before the next appointment. We agree the layout with you before the journey, so the vehicle pulls up seated the way you need it.
Included in the vehicle:
- Flexible seating, conference layout or facing forward
- Table function for documents and laptops
- Leather seats and climate control
- USB charging at every seat, Wi-Fi on request
- Tinted windows in the rear
- Sliding doors on both sides
- A separate luggage compartment
- Water on board

Neighbouring classes
Fewer passengers, or considerably more?
As soon as your group gets smaller or larger, the right vehicle class changes. For up to three people the sedan remains the more comfortable and more discreet solution, because it pulls up less conspicuously and is more flexible in town. Only above nine people does the minibus become more economical, because the cost per person drops considerably and the luggage compartment grows accordingly.
Up to three passengers?
For single appointments and board-level journeys, the sedan pulls up more discreetly and more flexibly.
More than nine passengers?
For trade fair logistics, events and travelling parties, the coach works out considerably better per person.
Two further classes border on the van: Electric for emission-free journeys by sedan or van, and Luxury for representative occasions with the highest expectations.
Your chauffeur
Discreet, local, multilingual
Your chauffeur keeps track of the luggage, coordinates boarding at several addresses and adjusts the route when an appointment runs long. Multilingual, familiar with the area, and discreet even when work or phone calls are happening in the back.
