The schedule
The day begins the moment the door opens
Driversline drives weddings in Hamburg with classic premium sedans, among them the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Stretch and party limousines are not part of the fleet.
Between getting dressed, the photographer and the schedule, a wedding day leaves little peace. Those minutes in the car are often the only ones the two of you have alone. A quiet interior, a chauffeur who knows the route and a car already waiting at the door: that is how a journey becomes a part of the day you are glad to remember.
Hamburg does not always make that easy for a couple. Registry offices in Altona or Bergedorf, a church in the centre, the photo shoot by the Elbe and the venue out of town are rarely close together. One set driver knows the order, the parking outside each building and how much time between two points is realistic.

The Cars
Which vehicles suit the ceremony
The choice depends less on taste than on the number of people and on the dress. A full wedding dress needs a tall door opening and room in the back; a party of witnesses and parents needs seats. These vehicles are available for weddings in Hamburg:
- Up to 3Passengers
Mercedes-Benz S-Class (long wheelbase)
A long wheelbase and plenty of legroom in the back
- 2 to 3Passengers
Mercedes-Maybach S-Class
Lounge seats with a leg rest, the quietest interior in the fleet
- 3Passengers
Mercedes-Maybach GLS
A higher seat and an easy step in for a full dress
- 3Passengers
BMW i7 , all-electric
All-electric and emission-free, with no engine noise outside the church
- 3Passengers
Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Understated in appearance, ideal as a second vehicle
- 6 to 7Passengers
Mercedes-Benz V-Class
For witnesses, parents and close family
- 8 to 9Passengers
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter VIP
Single seats and room to stand as you get in
Classic Sedans, vans and premium coaches make up the whole of what is offered. Anyone looking for a stretch limousine or a party vehicle will not find one at Driversline. That decision was made deliberately and suits weddings where restraint and a well-turned-out arrival matter more than effect.

The couple and the guests coordinated in one day
A second vehicle pays off sooner than many expect. As soon as parents, witnesses or guests from out of town have to move between two places, you get waiting, improvised lift-sharing and the question of who may still drive after the celebration. A van or minibus settles all of that at once, and on the day itself nothing has to be arranged.
Larger groups travel in the Sprinter with up to 19 seats or in a Coach. For journeys between the ceremony, the photo location and the evening event, Driversline provides several vehicles in parallel, run through one fixed contact. How group transfers like that are planned in Hamburg is shown by the Shuttle service Hamburg in detail.
Decoration
Flowers and decoration on the car
Agreed beforehand
Decoration is possible and is agreed beforehand. Flower arrangements on the bonnet, ribbons on the wing mirrors or discreet trim at the rear can all be fitted, as long as the paintwork, the view and road safety are untouched. Mention it when you ask and we settle the fixings with your florist directly.

Your Chauffeur
Who drives you on your wedding day
On this day discretion decides more than anything else. Your chauffeur stays in the background and remains approachable without pushing into the proceedings.
- Opens the door when it fits, not on cue
- Local knowledge in Hamburg and the surrounding area
- Well turned out, and calm at the wheel
- Takes sudden changes to the schedule in his stride
Every Driversline chauffeur holds the passenger transport licence required by law and brings years of experience.
Planning
How to plan the wedding journey in Hamburg
Asking early secures the vehicle you want. Between May and September, Saturdays in Hamburg are booked up long in advance, so it is worth asking six to twelve months ahead. A few details are enough to start planning; everything else can be refined later.
Useful with the first enquiry
- The date, the starting time and roughly when the day ends
- The addresses of the pick-up point, the registry office, the church and the venue
- How many people travel in the main vehicle and in the guest vehicles
- The model or vehicle class you would like
- A note about decoration, waiting times or a photo shoot
You then receive a quote with the vehicles firmly assigned and an agreed plan for the day. Changes to the schedule are possible until shortly before the date, as far as vehicle availability allows.
